I love sewing. As I have said before, there is almost nothing as soothing as sitting quietly with a piece of fabric in your hands, making one tiny stitch after another to some good end.

And I love Liberty in London - especially the craft department which just might be the most delicious anywhere (how is it that so many department stores closed their haberdashery departments just before the Great Craft Revival began?)

Today I found these pretty vintage tea cups turned into pin cushions (instead of the candles in tea cups that you now see everywhere).
