I'm embarrased to say that I made an exciting discovery recently. Embarassed because I should have discovered this amazing shop months ago when it first opened - but there it was, tucked away down a side street right near one of my favorites, Few and Far, and (so busy was I with the shop I knew & loved) that I just never spotted it.

Shame on me, because the discovery is Mint at 2 North Terrace, Alexander Square, London SW3 - well known and well established as a source for exceptional creative contemporary design and crafts for the home in its original setting on Wigmore Street in London's West End, and now almost a secret in its new home in Brompton Cross.

Almost a secret? Because there is only the most minimum of signs on view (for some reason the local powers that be will not let them put up one that its fans could actually see). But now you can find it - helped by the clear map on the web site.

Make it a must on your shops list!
