Julija's Shop
As if we didn't know that sewing, knitting and all those other cosy, traditional domestic things are back in fashion (see last week's blog item on knitting kits in Paris), catch this enchanting little shop which opened in Antwerp just a few months ago.
Julija's Shop (subtitled "100% Handmade") at Nationalestraat 118 (just a short walk from the Dries van Noten flagship boutique) sells knitting yarns, Liberty printed cottons, trimmings, buttons and a collection of patterns and kits for children and grownups that are fresh, charming and on trend.
Working in partnership with the much loved, long established knitting boutique in Paris' Les Halles, La Droguerie, the kits for babies, neatly packed in little metal voxes with clear plastic tops, are particularly delightful.
