TrendPulse Editor-in-Chief, Jo-an Jenkins has spent her entire professional life tracking the signs of the times and changing trends in the fashion and interior design worlds. She has written books on design and shopping, combining journalism (for The New York Times, The Los Angeles Times and others) with consultancy for major stores and key brands in home textiles and fashion.
As founder of a London based international trend forecasting agency for over 15 years, she led a team which provided a comprehensive range of colour and trend information and retail reports to an international client base ranging from major retailers and key cosmetic brands to the most prominent names in leisure, ready to wear and interior design, all in physical book form. She was a regular speaker at Heimtex, as part of a program of speaking in the US, UK and Australia.
Seeing the move away from print, in 2008 she launched the TrendPulse website which originally included her first love, fashion. It now focuses exclusively on reporting the latest trends in indoor and outdoor living with a team of photographers in key locations.
